It’s funny that I would receive inspiration to start this web log from last night’s take-out order of Chinese food. In an effort to decrease my meat consumption, I ordered the steamed vegetable dumplings. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I find them more delectable than the ones filled with pork. To top off my flavorful experience, I opened a fortune cookie today and found this message:
If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn’t.
Complexity is a personal mantra. I strive for it, not in a way that encourages confusion but in a way that increases perspective. I see myself as deep, multi-faceted, drawing from many sources as I experience life – definitely, an eclectic geek.
